Greg Aycock, Project Manger: Greg is a native of Baltimore, Maryland who has worked in the construction and deconstruction trade since moving to New Orleans in the summer of 2004. Greg’s resolution to work within the deconstruction field was solidified in the three years after Katrina. During this time, Greg learned the tremendous historical and financial significance of salvaging old lumbers, brick, and architectural building materials. In addition to over four years of deconstruction experience, Greg constructs and sells custom painting and photography frames. He and his wife, painter Emily Smith, can be found all around New Orleans selling their works at the various markets and art shows. Email: greg@lagreencorps.org+
Temple Byars-Kauffman, Program Compliance Manager: Temple is a fifth generation San Francisco native. She spent six years there running a natural-based toy store and it was during this time that she began a new chapter as a proponent of social change. She decided to pursue a Master of Social Work degree at Fordham University, focusing on Client Centered Management and Global Social Work. Her social service career has taken her from interning at the United Nations, to the public housing developments of San Francisco, to Delgado Community College and now to Louisiana Green Corps as our Program Compliance Manager where she’ll be responsible for the development, operations and compliance of Louisiana Green Corps’ programs. In her spare time, Temple can be found working on her house with her husband, recycling, going fishing, and spoiling her dog Rufus. Email: temple@lagreencorps.org+

Paul Rossnagel, Resource Development Officer: Paul is an Americorps VISTA joining us from Parsippany, NJ. After graduating from Lehigh University with degrees in Finance and International Relations, Paul worked as a Financial Advisor in the NYC area before leaving that career path to pursue greater adventure and fulfillment in life. The smells and sounds of New Orleans beckoned, and in 2012 Paul loaded up his car and made the long drive down with all of his worldly possessions. He’s here to stay. In his spare time, Paul can be found road biking along Lakeshore Drive or running in City Park with his girlfriend and their dog. Email: paul@lagreencorps.org
